Promotional packages are as important as a job interview (NJOROGE-KRISTIAN, 2015). Besides, a good self-branding products would leave a good impression to the targeted audience and sets yourself apart from the others (NJOROGE-KRISTIAN, 2015). Before drafting and designing a promotional package, one have to truly understands itself in terms of the character, vision, goals, aspiration, interest and so on.
A research was conducted to study self promotional packages of others. One important element for designing promotional package is to be consistent. For example, Lara Hochreiter have designed her self promotion packaging which consist of a matchbox, name card and resume as seen below. The designs are clearly in a same theme and colour palette which makes it consistent. Besides, her "resume" was also designed to suit the other promotional materials as it was designed using the same font and colour.

Lara further claimed that a matchbox was chosen as one of her promotional packages as it represents herself which she sees herself as bright spark with dazzling ideas (Lara Hochreiter, 2017).
Other than matchbox, according to 4over4.com, one can create personalized calender, mug, physical portfolio, name card, brochure, name card holder, and much more depends on each individual (4over4, 2019). Besides, Manon Louart even created an augmented reality name card (Budrick, 2018). This shows that the promotional packaging that one will be creating need to best represents oneself and who they aspire to be in future. It's also very important for wordings or messages to be readable so messages intended to be delivered can successfully be translated to the targeted audience. If one aims to create the promotional packages for job interview purposes. The design of the self promotional items needs to meet a balance between personal individuality and job applied for.
After having thoughts about personal character, aspirations, goals and future jobs, the author aspired to be a renowned fashion stylist in Malaysia's fashion industry and she looks up to Haida Yusof, one of the successful fashion stylist in Malaysia.
Other than that, she have also approach her friends to describe her using 3 words regarding her personality and so on. It has been concluded that she is hardworking, smart, well-organized and a goal-getter when it comes to her work ethics. However, in terms of personality, she is also introvert but has constantly challenge herself to be more sociable, observant and kind. She then finds out the activities and hobbies that she enjoy doing in her free time. Illustrations is a part of her as she loves to draw since young and always drawn to fashion illustrations and other visuals online. Hence, all of these elements can be represented through her self promotional package.
