Students were asked to create a digital story of themselves in class.
Since the age of 5, she already had the interest of studying fashion courses. After graduating high school, she enrolled herself to Raffles College, Kuala Lumpur and further her education studying Advanced Diploma in Fashion Marketing and Management. Throughout her Diploma journey, she have learned basic knowledge of the fashion industry and skills required such as Adobe skills ( Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator etc). Other than that, she have already been the student in class who strives to achieve her goal and she manage to graduate with the best student award in her course and also the best graduation project. She was also exposed to the industry by participating and taking up every opportunities given to her by her friends, lecturers and other people's recommendation. She took up freelance jobs while studying such as an assistant stylist for a photo shoot done by Louis Vuitton, volunteered to be the crew member of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week and also Malaysia Fashion Week. With all the opportunities given to her, her passion for fashion grew more and more stronger. After graduating Advanced Diploma, she applied for an internship in FJ Benjamin where she assist in managing the marketing department for Marc Jacobs, Celine, Loewe, Guess and La Senza. Through this internship, she had both hard and fun times where right now when she look back, she realized that the internship was really helpful and prepared her for more industry expectations on her. After completing her internship, she further her studies in taking International Fashion Business again in Raffles College. During her degree, it was an eye opener for her as the standard and quality required in school is 10 times higher compared to Diploma. Even so, she did not give up and still am being competitive and strive to achieve her goal. During her degree program, lecturers have continued to push her and encourage her to produce better quality of work. Besides, she have given the chance to conduct much more photo shoots and styling which sparked her interest in this area. She realizes that she really enjoyed the planning and thinking process in preparing a shoot.During her free time, she would release her stress and give herself some time alone by illustrating or doodling as it makes her feel less overwhelmed with her work. She is a really dedicated person when it comes to work and she hopes to be a better leader and gain more experience, skills and be mentally and physically prepared for the real world before she graduate her degree.
