A total of 50 sponsors have been listed and the PR team members will be sending sponsorship request letter to them. The sponsors featured on this blog and on future postings are in charged by Renee. She will be handling the whole process of getting the sponsors to agree in sponsoring our event. To save time, the other member in the PR team will be in charge of the other sponsors which are not mentioned in this blog. However, it is listed in the list of sponsors.

Sponsors listed above are dUCk cosmetics & scarves, Neelofa Hijab, LMK cosmetics, Thavia, Pink & Proper, Azooi, Sometime by asian designers, Pantun Pins, Hermo, Favful and Inside Scoop. The sponsors mentioned are who the event organizers wish to be receiving a platinum sponsorship from for their event. All of the above potential platinum sponsors are growing and big, established local brands. Majority of brand founders are very young and talented, the youngest being 18 years old this year, Ameera Khan for LMK cosmetics, representing the youth of Malaysia. Therefore, the event organizers are hoping the designers or founder of the brands to share their success and be apart in the Malaysian Youth Now Fashion and Art Exhibition.

Firstly, the PR team had chosen 2 hijab brands (dUCk scarves and Neelofa Hijab) to be their platinum sponsors as the event will also be featuring the Hijabster subculture. The brand can be sponsoring their hijabs for the students to style and feature in the Hijabster subculture.

2 cosmetic brands were shortlisted as well which are dUCk cosmetics and LMK cosmetics. These 2 cosmetic brands are growing quickly in the local fashion market and are gaining the attention from the youth. The brands are able to set up a booth for the participants to try out their product, distribute sample sizes or even sell their products.

For clothing brands, Thavia and Pink & Proper were given the opportunity to be the platinum sponsors and showcasing their brand's uniqueness to their target market. It would be a great opportunity to the students if the brand could loan their products to be featured in the event.

Azooi and Sometime by asian designers are famous for their handcrafted bags. In the event, they could provide customization service for their products and this will also bring traffic to the event for the participants who wish to get a customized handcrafted bag.

Hermo, Favful and Pantun Pins and be sponsoring the event product samples, vouchers, miniatures and promo codes for the goodie bag which will be given to VIPs and 400 participants.

Lastly, to give the participants a happy and delightful experience in the event, the famous local ice cream brand, Inside Scoop can be selling their ice creams for the participants in a cheaper price or providing cash vouchers for door gifts and competition winners.

The benefits that these main sponsors will be receiving in return are mentioned on the previous post.

However, the author will be mentioning it here for a clearer view.

Benefits of sponsors contributing the Platinum sponsorship package:

1) Company logo will be listed as 'Main sponsors' on all the event's promotional gears (T-shirt, social media, ticket, brochure, event backdrop and poster).

2) Sponsor will be getting a free booth space of 6 ft x 6 ft on both event days.

3) Sponsor will be getting a total of 10 postings from the event's social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook). All sponsor are given the freedom to distribute how many postings they want their content to be posted in the event's Instagram and Facebook. For example, they can choose to do all 10 postings on Instagram and none of it on Facebook or 3 of them on Facebook and 7 of them on Instagram. Besides, they will also be providing the marketing team with the pictures and captions, hashtags they would like to be posted on the event's social media page. They are also given the power to decided which date / day and time for their post to be posted.

This post concludes the list of potential platinum sponsors for Malaysian Youth Now Fashion and Art Exhibition in order for the students to achieve their goal. Benefits of sponsors to the event are highlighted and vice versa.

Thank You,

Renee Wong
