Students are required to write down their personal & professional passion. As seen above is a mind map created for this task. As a creative individual who currently pursues her personal passion as her professional career, it's rather difficult to differentiate her personal and professional passion and her professional passion is her personal passion.
Personal Passion
The author have categorized her personal passion as interests that could help in personal development and becoming an overall better individual throughout the time. Being able to travel, have a fitness routine really helps her to clear out her mind and hectic work. As she is a goal achiever and constantly sets her target high, she often stresses herself during work. Hence, a balance life is much needed. Other than that reading helps to expand her vocabulary and she enjoys imagining the situation and picturing the environment or ambiance described by the author of the book. It is amazing to see how different people visualize differently from a sentence of a book. Upbeat music is one of her way to get her energy level up especially when she is exercising or completing a task such as cleaning her room or completing an assignment.
Professional Passion
Professional passion are activities that the authors enjoy throughout her education journey and wish to pursue more in future. The author have participated and styled many photo shoots during college and even as a freelance styling assistant because she shares a passion for both fashion and photography. She feels accomplish after watching her hard work in creating a story through clothing, props and set ups being photographed and modeled by professional models. Other than that, the author also have an interest in organizing and participating events. She pushes herself to be more sociable as she realizes building a network in the industry is extremely important. Besides, she loves to create content as well, whether is it through a blog post or her social media platform.
Through this task, the author felt grateful that her personal and professional passion both plays a huge role in building her career and personal growth. She is interested in both personal and professional passion which is extremely important. Imagine not being able to enjoy the professional self or passion required for your job.
