As mentioned in the 'tiered sponsorship model' blog post, there will be two types of sponsorship package. Sponsors who will be providing platinum sponsorship support will be catering financial support for the event and will be credited as the event's 'main sponsors' with other benefits. For gold sponsorship package, the sponsors will be credited as the event's 'supporting sponsors' instead by providing material support for the event's token of appreciation (door gifts) and competition prizes with other benefits for the sponsors in return. With the help of sponsors supplying gold sponsorship package, the cost of the event can be reduce as the team wouldn't have to outsource gifts or items to be put into the door gifts which the event will be giving 400 of door gifts away. Besides, the vouchers or miniatures that the sponsors are able provide for event participants can act as one of the promotional aspects for the event to gain traffic and sales. As seen below is the sponsors who the event organizers wish to be getting in-kind sponsorship from.
Potential Supporting Sponsors

As mentioned in the previous post, these brands / potential sponsors mentioned in this blog post and the future postings are not all of the sponsors that the event will be looking for. The brand/ potential sponsors mentioned are the ones handled by the author and the rest will be executed by her partner.
As seen above are the potential supporting sponsors ranging from fashion brands, skin care brand, food and beverages company, publication, hair saloon, e-retailers to ride-hailing services. Fashion brands like Zalora, Fashion Valet, Christy Ng have appeared as sponsors for many other local events. The brands can provide vouchers, promo codes for the online purchases to the participants of the event. With such benefits, the audience can be attracted by the deals they are able to get from participating the event. Other than that simple skincare can also provide product samples for the participants. This way their products are exposed to their potential customers or even gain new customers for them through this event. Besides, Blu Inc publications can also provide free magazines for the participants such as CLEO, Female, Glam, Glam lelaki, Harper's Bazaar and so on. Red Bull, Dutch Lady, Nestle can be sponsoring the event by providing free packet drinks for the audience and there's a high possibility that the drinks will be consumed by the audience as those 3 brands are big, trusted brands in Malaysia. Next, Miko Galere, an industry known hair saloon and academy has often seen sponsoring big fashion events is one of the targeted supporting sponsors for the event. They are able to provide cash vouchers or discounts to the participants to enjoy their services. Other than that, Groom Artistry, a hair saloon located at The Intermark (2 minutes away from Raffles College) has previously sponsored Raffles student's event with cash vouchers as well. The few big e-rcommerce sites (11 Street, Ladaza and Shopee) could sponsor the event some promo code or cash vouchers to drive sales as well. To ease the participants' transportation problems, the event will propose to Grab car service company to provide a promo code for the Malaysian Youth Now participants hence they enjoy a cheaper car ride to the event and in return, Grab car can have more users on both event days.
Benefits of sponsors contributing the Gold sponsorship package:
1) Company logo will be listed as 'supporting sponsors' on all the event's promotional gears (T-shirt, social media, ticket, brochure, event backdrop and poster).
2) Sponsor will be getting a total of 2 postings from the event's social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook). All sponsor are given the freedom to distribute how many postings they want their content to be posted in the event's Instagram and Facebook. For example, they can choose to do all 2 postings on Instagram and none of it on Facebook or 1 of them on Facebook and 1 of them on Instagram. Besides, they will also be providing the marketing team with the pictures and captions, hashtags they would like to be posted on the event's social media page. They are also given the power to decided which date / day and time for their post to be posted.
This post concludes how the sponsors mentioned above are able to provide material supports to the event and assist students is reaching their goal. Benefits that they sponsors will be getting are discussed as well.
