Firstly, a personal self mood board was created to show the unique individuality of the author. A few aspects of her were added into the mood board to best represent herself such as her signature colours, her hobby, how she seeks for inspiration, her go-to drink, life motto and so on. As seen in the mood board below, the author seeks for inspirations through architecture most of the time and travelling as she gets to explore and experience different types of culture and environment and that gives her a fresh start to be inspired. She is an observant person and by experiencing different cultures through travelling, she is constantly thinking of how to make things better and how to implement it in Malaysia. Other than that, the author tends to drawn towards dusty colours as she feels like it represents her personality of "feminine" but not quite with the tint of grey and neutral hues in dusty colour tones. During her free time, she would read books that is fashion related, watch movie, illustrate and taking pictures. As seen in the mood board, she realizes that she loves to always be on the go which is also the reason why she wants to be apart of the fashion industry as due to the quick trends and busy, glamorous lifestyle. She aspire to be a fashion stylist which also shares the hectic working patterns yet she finds it dynamic and lively. Besides, coffee is her daily must haves to help her strive through the week. Currently, she lives with a life motto which is "If not now, when?" to remind her that she shouldn't miss out any opportunities given to her even if its challenging because once she'd missed it, there might not be any other chances in future.
Personal Mood Board
Aspired to be a fashion stylist, the audience or receiver of the promotional kit that she will be designing are aimed at talent managers, magazines, high street retail brands, television broadcasting companies and so on. She loves to experiment both her conceptual styling skills and commercial styling skills which is why she would love to work for ZALORA and Top Shop to deliver what Malaysian consumers would wear on a daily basis. Besides, photo shoots from magazines such as ELLE and CLEO, music video styling for Malaysian artist such as Yuna, Lee Pei Ling, Muse Girls, Amoi Amoi and Astro TV shows can be her opportunity to build up her skills for conceptual styling and commercial styling depending on clients' needs. Since she is targeting towards lifestyle, not so much formal and not so much on the luxury brands which needed to follow brand guidelines. Hence, the promotional packages can be designed to suit what the targeted audience will be looking for which is young, energetic, youthful and experimental.
